This piece weaves together a past memory with the sounds of a daily morning routine to reflect on a future that lies ahead.
Julie Censullo is an award-winning independent producer, editor, storyteller and artist based in Minneapolis, MN (USA). She has worked on audio documentaries, dramas, essays, two-way interview shows, shorts, and many other forms of audio-oriented media. Her work has been featured on BBC 4, Minnesota Public Radio, KFAI, and at audio festivals and listening events around the world, including the RESONATE Podcast Festival Pitch Party, Minnesota WebFest, T.O. WebFest, In the Dark's "What's New?" and Banguoja Audiofestivalis. Julie is the co-creator of "Out Cold," a spooky audio fiction series, and she is a 2023 Finalist for Best New Artist at Third Coast International Audio Festival for her documentary "Old Tapes." As a storyteller, she is particularly drawn to unique characters, complicated choices, humor, and a touch of surrealism.
