Tess helped organize the retreat, was part of the listening committee for the public entries and gave invaluable feedback on the pieces of her peers in the cohort.
Tess Davidson is an audio producer, sound designer and writer, with a background in print and broadcast journalism. Originally from the north of Ireland, she’s now based in London. She works between narrative documentaries and arts and culture, including BBC Radio 3 and 4, RTÉ national radio in Ireland, as well as Tate, Somerset House and Serpentine. She won bronze for Best New Producer in the UK’s Audio Production Awards (2023) and was short-listed for Best Sound Design Producer (2024), as well as receiving the Prix Europa Ake Blomström Award in 2023. She is currently writing her first play with Soho Theatre, London.
